The course is equivalent to an Ulpan in Israel. The classes focus on speaking, reading and writing in Modern Hebrew. Throughout the course students learn the Hebrew alphabet (Aleph Bet) and vowels, and acquire 500 words in Hebrew used in basic conversation on a variety of topics. The class meets once a week, students must complete homework assignments sent by the teacher after each lesson. |
