The course focuses on reading and writing Modern Hebrew. Throughout the course students learn the Hebrew alphabet (Aleph Bet) and vowels, and acquire 500 words in Hebrew used in basic conversation on a variety of topics. Students learn words and situations that one would encounter on a typical day in school, at home or with family and neighbors, and celebrate Jewish holidays and special days in class. |
