"This is the best course I have had. I signed up for a telephone course before, but it was one-on-one for the whole hour, and it was too much pressure. With other students in the class, there are breaks between talking, and the other students are heard, so I learn from them, and I hear that everyone makes mistakes, so I feel more comfortable when I make mistakes. Also Rina is very good at correcting in a positive way without embarrassment. I am definitely continuing, indefinitely. I also think I was placed at just the right level of difficulty."

"Our teacher is an excellent teacher. This is coming from someone who is a teacher himself. Her knowledge, experience, and capabilities are very evident. She has the difficult job of working with students from different backgrounds, yet she manages to bring the best out from everyone. One very good thing is that she insists on "keeping it in Hebrew" (though at times I and others have to resort to some English words). She is also very sensitive to how to distribute the time, and to give each one some attention. She is extremely patient with each one. She is very open to suggestions, and is very diplomatic in dealing with with each student. She uses humor whithout going overboard, and compliments each student on his/her accomplishments. She goes the extra mile for the class, and even develops (and helps) with homework. I have already learned, and benefitted a lot from her work. I highly recommend the Hebrew On Line program. As an adult learner with a busy life, I must admit I was skeptical when I initially read about the program. I had taken another on line program a few years back and was greatly disappointed. Successful completion of level I left me no closer to my goal than I was before beginning. I've tried computer programs and have learned a plethora of words but still couldn't speak or understand spoken Hebrew. I read and understand Torah and synagogue Hebrew, but Israeli Hebrew - no way!
The Hebrew On Line program is live and interactive. During the course of a class you hear, speak, read, and write Hebrew. My fellow five (5) students are all highly motivated, The teacher, Yoni Litt, an extremely patient excellent educator who has a knack of making the complex seem doable. The technical support staff are always available and can fix every problem I have encountered.
I'm going to Israel again in November for a course and I'll be ready!
So, if you want to learn modern Hebrew - look no further! You will not be disappointed!

"I was in Israel for a few days. I had not been there for a year and a half. And suddenly I understood so much!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. It started with the security procedure. I am always being questioned for hours, but this time, I spoke in Hebrew and it took only five minutes!
And in Israel with my family..... I suddenly could all the time understand at least what they were talking about and mostly far more.
And in shops and on the street too.
I was really, really happy and I thank you very much for this and I certainly will continue with the lessons, now that I see what they bring me.
