Shalom friends,
Spring is here! The trees are blooming, the bees are humming, and the fields are full of colorful flowers and butterflies that suck their nectar. Long sleeves change into short sleeves, boots turn to sandals, and there is an urge to go outside, enjoy nature and celebrate the joy of life. We enjoy it while it lasts, because the spring in Israel is very short and ends with the early summer heat. Naomi Shemer even put it into a song:
"Since here the spring is two days old, since here the spring dies young..."
So, let's step outside, listen to the chirping birds, smell the wonderful scent of the blossoming flowers, sing springy songs (in Hebrew), and enjoy this wonderful season!
