"Shalom Judith,
I want to express my deep, heart-felt gratitude to you. I am so very thankful that you were my teacher, and you will always have a very, special place in my heart of hearts. Thank you so much for all that you did for me.
I sometimes still struggle with pronunciations, but I am beginning to be able to think in Hebrew. :) I try to put my daily happenings into Hebrew sentences. An example sentence that I might attempt to put into Hebrew is: I gave my dog a drink of water. It is an easy sentence, but this process helps me to keep thinking. My translations are coming more easily, quickly and accurate, now.
I have tried so very hard to learn Hebrew, and I am just beginning to feel like I am making some progress. I know, I have done lots of work towards completing my goal of being fluent in Hebrew, but I believe, that my success in learning the Holy Language of Hebrew is due to you. Thank you so very much for being my teacher!!!! Thank you for being so patient with my mistakes. Thank you for being so kind and caring. I still want you to be my teacher, and I am near tears.
The best teachers that I ever had were my teachers from HebrewOnLine!!!
When, I am able to come to The Holy Land, I would love to see you. Please, keep me on your E-Mail list. Then, when I go to Israel, I can let you know of our timings.
Shalom, and blessings to you and your family,
As always,
Linda Moss"

"Shalom Adam,
I have been staying in Jerusalem getting to know Israel seeing the great history there is here and during our last lesson Andreas and Sharon were planing to come and visit her mother so we exchanged contact information and decided we would get together in Tel Aviv with our instructor Rivka.
Class has been a pleasure and we all made a nice connection with each other. I think Rivka has a great way in teaching and made this class quite enjoyable for all of us, it also helps that the class is a small one.
Sharon contacted me and we all agreed to meet in Tel Aviv on Monday, April 13 for coffee. I suggested the Crowne Plaza on the beach would be an easy point to meet. We all gathered there in the coffee shop with the most spectacular view of the beach (yam). We basically sat and had coffee and just got to know each other. Out conversation included every topic you can imagine. This also gave us a chance to practice our hebrew. I think being here is an advantage to force us to speak or try to speak in hebrew. It is also great to read signs or anything on the streets in hebrew although I might not understand what I read I was able to make out the letters which is a great first step.
So far my visit has been enjoyable and I hope I can become more fluent in Hebrew.
With Kind regards,
Nancy"

"Thank you for taking some time this afternoon to say hello to me at the eTeacher office in Tel Aviv.
I really enjoyed meeting both of you.
HebrewOnline has played a significant role in allowing me to make my lifelong dream of making Aliyah a reality. The many hours of studying with hebrewonline has given me the confidence and ability to speak Hebrew in my new homeland. This afternoon I felt very comfortable speaking to you both in Hebrew. I hope you were able to understand my message of thanks.
These past three years I have had the privilege of learning from one of the best educators that I have ever had, Sigal Zohar. As a fellow educator (for over twenty years) I found it incredible to listen to Sigal's teaching style. Her sensitivity and compassion to our individual learning curves created a contagious, positive learning environment that allowed my classmates and I the opportunity to enjoy every session and yearn for more. Sigal constantly goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure all of our classroom sessions were understood.
This Sunday I begin my official five month Ulpan program offered to Olim. I feel very good about starting this intensive 5.5 hours a day, five days a week program. I know that i have a solid base because of hebrewonline. I definitely look forward to the many new challenges and of course teaching styles.
I will be continuing my Sunday and Monday hebrewonline group and class time. It is tough waking up at four o'clock in the morning to learn with my classmates, but we are like family now and I wouldn't miss the in class time for a second.
Thank you for all your help and consideration. We were very lucky to have Sigal Zohar as our teacher and now friend.
Shabbat Shalom
Howard Osterer"

"I have now had several Hebrew teachers and find that Sarah Baker is by far the best and most talented. I appreciate her interest in the student and most of all I am grateful for her great explanations of the often difficult Hebrew grammar to the beginning student. I am excited to be in this class and expect that, with a little work on my part, I will be making real progress. Thank you!"

"Ety is a excellent teacher. We like the way she explains the lessons to the class and how pleasant she always is. She encourages us to send her our homework, grades it and sends it right back for our review. We're glad we have her for an instructor. "

"She was wonderful. Unlike a typical class, she would ask us about our week. We kept things short and she'd pick one of us to center on the conversation. We learned the words from that, so I learned a lot more words than just the lessons. When I would email her in the eve, I would find her answer in the morn. She humanized us to one another and it was just a wonderful experience. And, she sent us music. I hope all is well with Sigal."
