A Few Words About Me
I live in Jerusalem, only a short distance from the Old City, and the Western Wall, the holiest site to the Jewish people.
I share my life with my amazing husband, my five gorgeous girls: Gili, Tal, Hadar, Rotem and Noga, and Naoomi the cat.
During my spare time I keep fit by going regularly to the gym, doing crosswords puzzles, and participating in various seminars on the Hebrew language.
I began teaching Hebrew through the Rothberg School of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, when I noticed a sign that they were looking for students to teach Hebrew at an ulpan for overseas students. I jumped at the opportunity and, after undergoing several tests and interviews, was accepted for the job.
I have since been teaching Hebrew at various ulpans, and over the past year have become acquainted with online teaching, where I especially enjoy the ability to give personal attention to each student, mainly because the groups are smaller than regular classes.
I sincerely enjoy teaching Hebrew, and enabling students living in places as far as the U.S.A. to be able to get immediate responses to any questions they might have.

Choice Student Feedbacks
5  09/03/08 - Joubert Lindy, USA:
Orit Martinotti is probably the most gifted teacher I have encountered in many years of study. Her warm, conversational style and her engaging humor create a lively learning environment. She is instantly able to assess individual students learning capacity and she adjusts accordingly. Aside from the invaluable vocabulary and language insights gained from this class, Orit provides fascinating glimpses of life and culture in Israel.
5  24/06/07 - Stern Selma, Germany:
It was a great lesson. I am getting more confident regarding the infinitives, and learning new vocabulary becomes easier. Orit is a great teacher. What I love most about her is that she takes her job serious. She listens very carefully, always corrects my mistakes and does not let go until I got things right; briefly, Orit is a teacher who truely wants to teach her students proper Hebrew. Besides, she is a very friendly person and the perfect mixture of ''serious'' and ''strict'' teacher on the one hand side and someone who it is fun and enjoyable to be with on the other hand side
5  18/02/07 - Black Melissa, USA:
Orit is a wonderful instructor. She is very patient and keeps a great pace for the class regardless of all comprehensive levels.
5  29/10/06 - Stern Selma, Germany:
I enjoy the lessons more and more. The course is extremely good and it enriches my entire week. I am going to learn plenty of verbs now. I like the way the learning style is made up. One learns useful grammar and useful vocabulary in a good overall mixture. Thanks a lot for this course! Lehitraot!
